«No other creature is so diverse,
so closely linked with the dexterity of humanity,
as the tree.»
(Alexander Demand, historian)
The trees and its habitants in the big city have certainly not an easy life. The lungs of the world, in this case of the city, are too much supported through the arteries of the city, the traffic.
I filmed the roadtraffic arteries from a tall building down and installed the film as a projection of bloodstreams on the trunk of a parktree. The flickering, unrecognizable at first glance as a traffic-movie, is to sensitize the attention to trees.
